    I found out that it's due to a specific bug that occurs randomly in 1.21.8. I don't know what triggers it, but it just happens randomly. I had Minecraft open for two minutes, scrolled around the add-on store a bit, and suddenly my screen went black. Here are the errors that appeared in my log afterwards:
