Make Minecraft run on Wayland natively

on linux, theres 2 graphics platforms, xorg/x11 and wayland. xorg is older, has more visual bugs, performs worse than wayland. wayland is newer, offers better support for alot of things and has way less bugs.
My idea is to make minecraft run natively on wayland without using the xwayland server to run it. while there are mods that do it, having it natively on the client would be so much better. for xorg users you can disable the wayland mode in the launcher,

2024-08-15 13:45:22Cool idea, I didn't know, that Minecraft still uses XWayland. Is it possible to make an addon out of one of these mods? I don't know anything about the Addon API of LabyMod.

2024-08-18 23:49:20https://modrinth.com/mod/waygl/versions works better in my setup, it does the same thing without sacrificing the minecraft icon and turning it into wayland icon
