High Ping with Labymod running

Hi,
for some reason I'm always getting a really high ping in other applications as soon as I start minecraft with LabyMod. My ping goes up to 1000ms while running Labymod.
I tried running vanilla Minecraft (same version) and didn't have problems.
I also realized Minecraft with Labymod uses over 7GB of RAM, even tho I only allocated 4GB.
Any ideas on why this happens?
