OptiFine cape button not working

I have the problem that when I click on the optifine cape editor in player/skin the buttn makes an animation that it was clicked but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this

Operating System: Windows 11 pro
LabyMod Version: 4
Minecraft Version: 1.20.6
