Extreme FPS drops after traveling

I noticed that with Labymod I have extreme FPS drops when I fly a few thousand blocks with my Elytra. On average I have up to 600-1000 FPS, but the further I fly, the more they drop (down to below 60 FPS). Even when doing AFK for a short time, the FPS stay down. Only after a world change (e.g. in the Nether) do the FPS rise back to the average value.

CPU: I5 13th

By the way, I have generally found that I have more FPS with Vanila/Fabric than with Labymod. Also, my PC gets more overloaded and therefore warmer.

Maybe it would be an idea to add mods like LazyDFU, Entity Culling or FastChest in Labymod to improve performance.

Operating System: Windows 10
LabyMod Version: 4.0.0+718 snapshot/e0e4be
Minecraft Version: 1.19.4
Installed Addons: Flux, Optifine, Full Bright, Spotify, Toolbreak Warning

Ive been having this problem too. It sucks having to re-log or flat out restarting the game entirely.

Same here. FPS goes sometimes down until 1 or 2 FPS after flying with elytra or walk thousands of blocks. Only restart clearing this problem. Sometime it was okay to join nether or the end but this don't work mostly. The game freeze after joining the portal. If I play with LAN the game also crashing.

Hey, does this problem also occur without OptiFine?

Hey, even without Optifine this bug occurs. The problem is probably due to Flux. When I disable Flux, the problem no longer occurs.

Can you try to figure out which setting of Flux is responsible for this behavior by turning on one setting at a time and see if the problem still occurs?

Have just tried around. It's definitely the "Preload light" setting.

For me, this is no longer relevant, since I only play in 1.20 and there is no longer this "Preload Light" setting.
But on the 1.19.4 the problem is still present.
