Name color of custom Names

Hello,
so I changed the color of one of my friends names so I can see him easier. I changed the color to purple so his name on my tab list is purple aswell. The thing is that the Name ingame (so when I see him) is somehow yellow and not the color it should be... I think that the commands for the colors are messed up all in all. For example on hypixel when u play murder mystery the color of the murderer chance is as blue as the color of the detective chance.
