As you can see in the picture, the lantern is held in a very strange way. I don't know how others hold a lantern, but I don't think so.

Would it be complicated or possible to align the lantern downwards (hanging)?

The lantern is also rotated incorrectly. The handle is not in the palm (imaginary), but in the hand. I hope you understand what I mean.
