Even if certain processes then only work for Java 21, there would be an advantage for PvP people, as Java 21 is not designed for 1.8. For example, Minecraft would start faster, and you would also be able to get more 1.8.9 feelings, for example java 8 1.8.9 would then be an only pvp area, only certain addons like Optifine etc are then only downloadable, certain settings are only adjustable.

Depending on which Java version some functions work, I guess from java 17 everything works, so I would say that you will be informed in the launcher that some functions do not work, and there is a certain number that is also displayed, which will definitely not work!
