Skin customisation menu crashes, cosmetics broken

On the Labymod versions 1.8.9 to 1.16 (1.17 and 1.21 were both fine) clicking on "skin customisations" setting causes the screen to go black. The game does not crash, as the inputs still work and audio works etc. You simply cannot see anything but a black screen.

In addition, the Laby cosmetics are not visible on these affected versions. The shop section works fine until some cosmetic is clicked, and it also goes black.

On the Apple M2 chip.

Operating System: macOS
\LabyMod Version: 4.3.39

    Hello, I've here's complete log from the game session in which the error occurs. -The log was captured by launching the game, navigating to settings before even joining a world, clicking the skin customisation button, black screening (and quitting shortly after).

    Hey, I was able to reproduce what you've reported. On both versions my cosmetics won't load. Whenever I open "Skin Customisation" or when i click on cosmetics in the shop I get a blackscreen , just as you did.
    Although I've also experienced a blackscreen when opening the player section to manage my cosmetics.
